This excursion includes transportation, fees to parks (if needed), lunch and dinner, as well as additional night sky viewing with the goggles.

Location:

This Galactic Experience is being held at a beautiful private home located in Waikoloa Village, just 30 minutes north of the Kona International Airport (KOA). Waikoloa is a small, dark-sky town in the desert, with mostly clear skies for excellent night sky watching.

3-Day Schedule*:

Thursday – 9am to 9pm (includes lunch and dinner)

Friday – 9am to 9pm (includes lunch and dinner)

Saturday – 9am to 5pm (includes lunch)

*Sunday – 9am to 9pm Optional Add-on (see above)

Deposit:

$222 is due at the time of registration to hold your spot. Payment plans are available, if needed. Deposits are non-refundable.

*For those traveling from abroad, airfare is not included in any of the packages. You will need to arrive some time on Wednesday (or before) to ensure that you are on time when we begin on Thursday morning.

If you are doing the Galactic Experience Only (with or without Field Trip), you will need to drive yourself to the retreat location in Waikoloa Village daily. Rental cars are required if you do not have a car on island in this situation, as you cannot depend on Uber/Lyft type services.

If you need to secure lodging, there are numerous options in and near Waikoloa. Let me know if you need advice on this. We are located 30 minutes north of the airport (KOA), 45 minutes north of downtown Kailua-Kona, and up to 1.5 hours from Hilo.
